What comes to mind when you think of Indianapolis, Indiana? Many know of it for the speedway and professional race car drivers. Here’s a twist next time you find yourself in the midwest, this city has been ranked to have one of the best children’s museums in the world but thats using the title lightly as its immersed with culture over 5 floors and 7.5 acres of outdoor fun and its not just a place for kids. The highlight for me is the Power of the Children exhibits featuring- Anne Frank, Ruby Bridges, Ryan White, and the Malala Yousafzai exhibit, the only one in the world. What an inspiration for us all. Its a day full of culture, education, and entertainment. To help plan your trip here is their link- https://www.childrensmuseum.org/

The state has coined the name crossroads to America. Another nickname for them is hoosiers. A major player to manufacturing and plenty of farmland. Also known for basketball stars, many legends have started in the hoosier state.

If a big city is a must or you need an international airport to fly in Chicago is just 3 hours to the north. A short trip by rail or a great drive through Americas heartland. Travel like a local and explore another U.S. state without all the big city hype but yet not lacking in entertainment. Museums, Amusement parks in Santa Clause, Notre Dame, Purdue, Indy speedway, hiking trails, craft brews, culture, and more. What are you waiting for?
