Summers in western New York and Niagara Falls go hand in hand even for the locals. This is an adjective post to assist you with the many words to describe this magnificent place. Fierce, mighty, powerful, strong, rough, beautiful, awww inspiring, tranquil, peaceful, exhilarating. There are many more, drop a comment with your words. Free ESL lesson to those who comment.

Have you had the pleasure of visiting Niagara Falls? Summer and fall/autumn are the best times to visit. I hope its on your bucketlist. Did you know its one of the wonders of the world?

Tips for a great time-

Custard is a local ice cream and its a must to try.  Buffalo wings is the obvious must have, Dwyers and Mooneys are my favorite but Anchor Bar is a definite contender.

Lewiston is minutes from the falls and its a beautiful Victorian town worth a stroll and a great spot to have lunch/dinner on the lake or to catch a ride on the boat for white water rafting through the Niagara gorge for the brave ones.

Buffalo is also minutes away and has much to offer, worth its own post. History lovers would be impressed. Take the girls to Teddy Roosevelts house for a teddy bear tea party, visit the Erie Canal, tour the Naval ships, take a dinner cruise on Lake Erie, and so much more.

Ask a local for all the hidden gems in all the nooks and crannies surrounding the Niagara Buffalo region. Come for the waterfall and get ready to be impressed with all the finds if you travel as a local.

Travel safe, travel smart, or perhaps virtual travel will do for now.

Until next time…
